June House Party Inspirational Blog Hop

Here is a fun layout I created of myself with my two girlfriends, Missy and Tiffany! In this layout you will see my photo frame with a beveled/embossed technique. I find this to be a great way to add depth to your layouts rather than using a drop shadow. This frame was created with one of my Whimsy papers. I simply removed a rectangle in the middle of the page to fit the photo, and then shrunk it to the size I liked. With the beveled/embossed effect, it really give the impression of the frame sitting on top of the photo! Give it a try, if you haven't already! There are many different depth options you can try with this effect. Each variation creating a bold new look!

June Photography Challenge: Bubbles

It's time for the June Photography Challenge! 

When you think of BUBBLESi, what comes to mind?

Possibly blowing bubble gum, playing with a bubble wand out in your back yard, taking a bubble bath, washing your car, giving the dog a bath. There are so many amazing options! 

This month I challenge you to use your creativity to capture a fabulous bubble photo. 

The photo below is of my son Connor taking a bubble bath. We decided it was the perfect place to bring in a bottle of bubbles to play with. This was a very random snapshot that turned into a real peace of art! Hope you enjoy!
